Pumpkin Spice Cake with Cinnamon Swirl

Spice cakes are a big hit in my family and I make it every year, usually Applesauce Spice Cake, but this year I wanted to try something a little different. Don’t get me wrong, the applesauce version is great, but if I can add pumpkin to a recipe I will! And I think I’ve found a new favorite with this Pumpkin Spice Cake with Cinnamon Swirl. It takes like pumpkin pie and would pair well with morning coffee or a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. I can’t help it, I’m hooked. Don’t leave me alone with a full pan of this!

Spiced Bourbon Chocolate Banana Bread

I love anything spiced during fall! And one of the reasons I love making quick breads is because there are so many different ways to customize them and it’s so easy to do. Rich and chocolaty, this spiced bourbon chocolate banana bread is as satisfying as devils food cake, but with half the work! Tell me more, you say? Cinnamon blends with rich dutch chocolate and bourbon to create a perfectly moist and spicy bread.

Gin Fizz

I’m back at it this weekend with a super fun cocktail recipe to share with you! I have never made a gin fizz at home before and this was really fun to try. As for flavor, this cocktail is the closest you will get to drinking lemon meringue pie!

Sun Tea

For tea lovers, this set it and leave it recipe is a great way to prep for the week. You can prepare a big batch of sun tea all at once and enjoy it all week over ice or with added flavors.
